Located in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Loft Plus One is an intimate ‘talk space’ that has become synonymous with kaiju related events. Over the years, the popular basement club has allowed fans to rub noses with many of their favorite filmmakers and film actors. Following the release of Mr. Kaneko’s GMK, Loft held a gathering honoring the film. In addition to Mr. Kaneko, guest included actor Shiro Sano, suit maker Fuyuki Shinada, suit actors Mizuho Yoshida (Godzilla), Akira Ohashi (Ghidorah), Toshinori Sasaki (Baragon stunt actor), stunt coordinator Mitsuo Abe, GMK assistant director Shimizu Toshifumi, scriptwriter Keiichi Hasegawa, GMK making of video reporter Jiro Kaneko, Toho Godzilla website reporter Norman England, kaiju artist Yuji Kaida, and kaiju writer Masami Yamada.
