GMK promotion hit the Japanese airwaves on 2001, October 21 with Mr. Kaneko appearing on the game show "Time Shock". Along with Mr. Kaneko were other celebrity guests, as well as a Godzilla promotional suit. Time Shock also enjoys a connection with GMK, as it is co-hosted by GMK heroine Chiharu Niiyama.
